Instructional Design Methodology
Implement Materials According to Plan

Methodology | Risks | Application Tips

Implementation Risks

  • Your staff will not be fully trained to conduct the instruction.

Train-the-trainer activities must be planned, developed and delivered to the training staff. This will be a project within a project because the training for the trainers must be competency-based as well.

  • The evaluative data will be of poor quality or not collected.

One of the tasks for the trainer will be to collect data following the student evaluation plan. Student evaluation data will be collected as part of the management plan. You must fully train the staff in the methods and procedures that are planned.

  • Your data will not be analyzed and used to revise training.

The follow-through of data evaluation to revision recommendations depends upon planning for staff to be available to do the analysis and reports, and a budget available for revising the materials.
